Why to Keep Your Discipline In

Why to Keep Your Discipline In

It is now 2023. A New Year. In the last several articles, we delved into everything Christmas and New Years. Well, now that it is over, we figured you would like some key points to actually keep in discipline for the rest of the year in keeping your home neat and tidy.

First of all, you have time. We all have those awkward minutes between things that we think are useless minutes. The three minutes waiting for the water to boil. The five minutes the microwave is on, etc etc. That unusually long time it takes for your washer to stop actually spinning when you thought it was almost done. You know what I am talking about? If you added up all those awkward minutes and put them together you would probably have a good chunk of time to get something done, but you can’t really do that. But why waste them?!

But, instead of telling you how to do them, let us tell you WHY to do them.

  1. Dirt and dust promote illness.
  2. It reduces stress
  3. Better organization saves you time
  4. A dirty home ages quickly
  5. You will always be prepared for visitors
  6. It sets a good example

When you make house cleaning your top priority, you start to see other things in your life fall into place. Suddenly, you have more free time and less chores to do on the weekend; your stress levels drop; you keep better health; and you feel a sense of pride because your home is clean and organized!
